• Female, late 20s, Pacific Northwesterner.
• I play mostly in HP fandom, but am looking to branch out. I'm not interested in celeb, anime, or X-Men.
• I would rather play thread style games than linked journals.
• I make PB icons (quibblercons igpayatinlay), and generally prefer less glam, realistic, uncommon PBs. Also, foreheads and eyebrows are always more expressive than necklines and navels. Always.
• I don't write anything that's >40% shippy unless it's a PSL. I'll ship het or femme, smut and fade to black are both fine.
• I usually don't dig AU HP. Canon or very close to it for me, please.
• I ♥ grammar and spelling; every time you use netspeak, God kills a kitten.
• Am currently looking for:
  • A canon game where I can play Ron (available Hermione for a friend = strongly preferred) under the age of 21. Bonus points if there's more logs than journaling, because goodness knows Ron's better in person than on the page.

My 2 hour layover just turned into a six hour layover. I paid $8 for internet, only to have my computer say, several minutes after purchase, that my battery life is going to be shorter now, so, I just have roughly 1.5 hours of computer time, unless I can find an outlet.

I may weep. Or sleep on the floor.

EDIT: I found an outlet. Now if only I could find a portal through time and space.

Selfish pimping for thereaped, which is Hunger Games fandom, 72nd games:

• District 11: Seeder (age 57-63) - This is my unselfish one. You'd get to play with chthonian, who's friggin' awesome. PB suggestions include Lorraine Bracco, Mimi Kuzyk, Hiam Abbass, Catherine Keener, Mira Furlan, Shohreh Aghdashloo, Sela Ward, L. Scott Caldwell, Juliette Binoche, Julianna Margulies, Sarita Choudhury, Ellen Greene, Catherine Zeta-Jones, and Stockard Channing.
• District 8: Female Victor-Non-Mentor (age 64-70) - I have the current D8 female mentor, Cecelia Spinner, but she's only been doing it for about eleven years now (give or take a year or two). This lady would be her mentor, and a friend to her and Woof. PB Suggestions include Shirley MacLaine, Julie Andrews, Sally Field, Julie Walters, Jessica Lange, Lena Olin, Meryl Streep, Helen Mirren, Kathryn Joosten, Glenn Close, Gena Rolands, Penelope Wilton, Celia Imrie, Kathy Bates, Annette Crosbie.
• District 8: 2nd Stylist - Anyone! :D
• District 5: Escort - Male/Female, any age! This is maybe my biggest want actually. Your tributes are a nearly catatonic very quiet 15 year old girl and a deaf 16 year old boy, so... winning odds are low, but c'mon, we want someone to be our capitol guide!
• Random Stylist Concept - Jim Broadbent from Moulin Rouge; worked his way up to the top, but has since slid partway back down the ladder.

DTW... like Ronnie and a couple others I'm feeling like I'm in a bit of a slump. It's not an unhappy one so much as inactive because Grace and Rosmerta are both outside of the spectrum of the Order/DE/DMLE trifecta where most of the big plots happen; so they're just living their lives as usual. If anyone who's there wants to befriend a barmaid or an unrepentant yet non-violent purist, THAT WOULD BE AWESOME. ♥

It's Girl Scout Cookie time again. Tagalongs and Thin Mints are classics and I LOVE them, but this year we got one of the new flavors, Dulce de Leche, because my mother loves caramel. I hate to say it but they're kind of a let down. :-\ Did anyone get the new lemon ones? They took away Lemon Chalets and replaced them with a new lemon cookie, and I'm a little wary.

DTW folk, reverse pimp me, please? I feel fairly confident that I can handle a third, but I'm seeking inspiration. I'd prefer a man, since I have two ladies already, but if you just can't resist pleading the case for a woman, do. I'm mulling over Patrick Dervish, Porter Warwick, Jonathan Bones, or some seriously random person with a really weird job, like tattoo artist or international spy or the male stripper who DIDN'T get hired for Moira's bachelor party.

I actually like the show a lot too, which is funny because I was never an American Idol person, singing shows don't do much for me normally. Possibly it's that they don't see them so everyone gets a fair break? But my favorite part about this show this season is in this icon I stole from Julie.

Most of the people who oblige my greedy wants already have all the characters they can at DTW, but just. in. case.

I remain really bummed out that Grace stands alone in her family. She has a father, mother, older (married with baby/babies) sister, older brother (has a very pretty, very smart girlfriend already cast though the player seems flexible), and fraternal twin sister, and several options for possible cousins. Slightly better connected family-wise because she has two dear cousins, Rosmerta also has an older sister and older brother who could maybe be played. Family always seems the impossible get in a game unless it's a big family like the Doges or McKinnons or Warwicks, but on the off chance that this works, I will offer so much love you won't know what to do with it and make icons and whatever else you want. Bribery, ftw?

Also, random fact: I simply can't make it the whole way through Toy Story 3 without tearing up.
